The B Sharps are one of Irish TM's old timers, but patience is indeed a virtue and we have great pleasure in congratulating them on their entrance to the League of Ireland.

• Congrats on making it to the LoI. You’ve been in the game since season 5, with an 8 season sojourn in the 3rd div, then four in the 2nd div, is it about time, are you relieved?

Definitely, its taken a while but hopefully worth the wait

• Was there any reason in particular for being such a long time in the 3rd div?

Yep,had a crap team.

• Your YD is at 7 at the moment, but presumably it has not always been so low – why is this, have you enough excellent youths?

Was at level 10 for years but its very hard for a lower league team to stay at that level so i was forced to lower it to survive.

• What areas will you be looking to strengthen pre-season?

Was hoping to get a decent striker but haven't seen anyone worth buying.I'll keep looking.

• Your senior squad looks a little light on numbers, have you the depth to make an impression up there?
Very happy with my squad. The average age is very young and the young lads can only get better.I have decent cover for most positions.

• A great season for Na Fianna, a poor showing from Askeaton and mediocre from Teabag and Sharks, what’s happening in the LoI?

The random factor that is TM.

• Have you checked your future opposition yet and what concerns (or not) does this raise?

Every team in the LOI looks super strong but i had a decent grounding in the very tough 2.1 so I'm looking forward to the challenge rather than being concerned about it.

• Who would you put money on to win it in Season 18?

With the new match engine I would be putting my money on Les Sharks.

• Any upcoming David O’Callaghan types you’d like to share with us?

I wish.He is a once in a lifetime player.

• Who are you most looking forward to playing next season?

Funnily enough Wolfie.

• Where do you think you’ll end up (that old chestnut…!)

12th would do me nicely.

Cheers for that mate and looking forward to meeting you on the pitch...

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
