4. division, group 10

Here is a review of the past two weeks for the Titans:

Week 2: Record (1-1-1) – 4pts. Not a great week but better than week 1.

Week 3: Record (2-1-0) – 7pts. A great week moving the Titans into 5th place.

There have been a lot of issues that have caused line up changes recently:

Red cards: Curran and Moloney both missed time due to red cards. Who knew our defense was so aggressive.

Injuries: Injuries to Mulvhill (team goals and points leader in season 15) as well as other minor injuries have shaken up the line up over the last two weeks.

Poor play: Dunne (GK) and Mannaa (F) have both recently been benched due to poor play. Dunne is the most surprising as he was the Titan player of the year in season 15.

Acquisitions: Titans acquired Sean White 4 games ago. Sean has proven to be a great scoring asset scoring 3 goals and 2 assists in those 4 games.

Other league items: We are a quarter of the way through the season. I would say there are some surprises out there…

The two pro teams (Brigantes FC and Pup) are currently ranked 3rd and 7th. Most would have thought these two teams would be dominating by now.

Top scoring team in Kildare (15 goals). They are also in first place right now.

Best defensive team is Brigantes (3 goals). As stated before, in third place. I guess that pro advantage is paying off in some ways.

Best player so far is Adam Moloney (OM C) for Valhalla FC. Valhalla FC is currently in 12th place. They obviously need more good players or an easier schedule.

There is a lot of play left before seasons end, but it has been fun so far.

Go Titans!!!!!
