SUPER NASHWAN Super nashwan is a relitave newcomer to TM,but my word has he done well, has a record of 1st,1st,1st in 3 seasons with TM,a record which matches only to the greats like Best mate.Could he keep up this form and romp home once again this season? only time will tell if the jockey(carrying the light and dark blue colours) of 'super hans' can keep this form alive, but surely the bookies will not take this team lightly, and offer a mear 8/1 to claim DIV 2.3. This season will surely test him though, and with no new signings to his name,he must be feeling that his current squad can go all the way,so lets look at his squad for the up-coming season- In goal this season will be Mpezentacos,a class keeper who is getting on in life, but still has a good few years left to be of any concern to the manager, and with both McNeill and McHugh as cover, this area shouldnt be a problem in the near future, but might want to have a replacement in mindby season 18. Leading the line in defence is Colhoune,a sound right sided defender holding together a near water tight defence, remarkable as the rest are just your average 'joe the plumber' :) .His defence seem to be aging though and with no real youth development around the corner,he should be looking to sign 1 or 2 new players in the not to distant future. With O'sullivan retiring at the end of this season,it will be a big blow for the midfield,he was the catalyst for naswan in midfield, scoring 12 times and assisting in a further 7 goals last season,he will be hard to replace, but as we all know, money buys you anything in football.Mullen on the other hand is still very young and chipped in with no more than 9 goals and 13 assists himself, and at only 24 years of age, things can only get better for him. There isnt much else to report in midfield, although if Thompson becomes as good as he looks, then in 2-3 seasons time, naswhan could simply win games from winning the midfield battles. No real stars up front for nashwan, but who needs ronaldos and roonies when you have a midfield capable of scoring and assisting like the midfield already on show? so scoring this season won't be a problem for nashwan this season. review in short, should be looking to buy 4-5 players within the next 2-3 seasons to keep this form alive. predicted finish=top 5 finish.
