DIV 2.1

LAHINCHIANS

As most of you know, lahinchians is no newcomer in div 2.1,after being relegated from LOI in season 12 after a 4 season stint.
Although finishing 7th,3rd and 5th in seasons 13,14 and 15 respectivly,he has not gone and blown money on just anyone and everyone, instead he is quietly building a squad from his youth academy, and although it might do him a world of good to stay in div 2.1 for yet another season, nothing can deny the class he shows with the limited squad he has at his disposal.

Hasnt got any new faces to report on for the beginning of the season so-

He has a class keeper
in the shape of 27year old Abadijev, but is short of back up,as the only contender to take his place atm would be 18 year old O'flynn, who in my opinion is nowhere near being ready for D2,Lahinchians is playing with fire in his GK department,as an injury to Abadijev would surely derail any plans of gaining automatic promotion this season.

Defence is going to be one of his strong points in a season or 2,he has no less than 5 potential young irish fellas pushing for a starting berth, but i feel that it is a season to early for them to play week in week out this season in div 2.1.

Midfield has pretty much been sorted, some very good young players who are already a force to be reckoned with and none other than mcpharland to lead the way in midfield, has only 2 young lads coming through at the mo,but in all honesty,he doesnt need many more for a good couple of seasons.

his striking force is somewhat weak in that he only has 1 main striker in M'backe and nothing in reserve, which leaves the same situation as his GK's,1 injury could also derail any hopes of promotion this season.

so taking all of the above into concideration,i see him being a formidable force once again this season, but 2 long terms injuries could pretty much end any hopes of promotion, and for me,i would say he try to establish his youngens before really pushing for a LOI spot.

league finish=3rd-6th for season 16
